Avantel Softech has bagged an order valued at Rs 8.25 crore from the Ministry of Defence, for supply of satellite-communications receiver terminals for Indian Navy.

MUMBAI: Avantel Softech has bagged an order valued at Rs 8.25 crore from the Ministry of Defence, for supply of satellite-communications receiver terminals for Indian Navy.
The satcom terminals rely on traditional superheterodyne-receiver frequency-downconversion methods to translate received X-band signals from the satcom terminal antenna to lower-frequency intermediate-frequency signals that can be processed and digitized.
Avantel Softech shares closed up 9.94 per cent at Rs 53.65 on BSE.
