Autodesk completes NavisWorks acquisition

Nasdaq-listed Autodesk on Monday said it has completed the acquisition of Sheffield-based NavisWorks for $26 million (about Rs 1,04,93,60,665).

MUMBAI: Nasdaq-listed Autodesk on Monday said it has completed the acquisition of Sheffield-based NavisWorks for $26 million (about Rs 1,04,93,60,665).

Autodesk and NavisWorks plan to develop and deliver comprehensive suite of solutions for design and construction, Autodesk said.

The addition of NavisWorks technology to the Autodesk portfolio will help enable Autodesk customers to aggregate design information from multiple platforms, including both Autodesk and non-Autodesk solutions, the company said in a statement.

NavisWorks provides software for 3D coordination, collaboration and sequencing in design and construction.

Autodesk provides 2D and 3D design software for manufacturing, building and construction, media and entertainment markets.
