AppLabs gets ISO 27001 certification

Software testing company AppLabs on Tuesday said it has been conferred with ISO 27001 certification.

HYDERABAD: Software testing company AppLabs on Tuesday said it has been conferred with ISO 27001 certification.
"With this, AppLabs has become one of the very few companies globally to be awarded the ISO 27001 accreditation," a company release said here.
ISO 27001 is the new international standard for Information Security Management System (ISMS) that will underpin and protect the IT worldwide over the next decade.
The audit for certification was conducted by BSI Management Systems India Pvte Ltd. AppLabs was evaluated for effectiveness in implementation of information security policies and procedures to protect customers and organisation's confidential information and intellectual property, the release said.
"This certification comes as a testament to the stringent standards and processes that we follow to ensure information security throughout the organisation," company CEO Sashi Reddi said.
