Flip launcher works on top of your existing launcher and lets you add slide out trays to your homescreen. Each tray can be customised with a choice of apps.

You can have a total of six trays and you can set them to slide out from the left or right of the screen.

You can even set the color of each tray, set the opacity as well as the width of the pull-out handle for ease of use. Finally, there is the option to completely hide the tray handles when closed so that it does not interfere with any other processes.

If you like quick access to commonly used apps but dont want icons cluttering up the home screen, Flip launcher is a great free app.
