ADP India sets up facility in Pune

ADP India, subsidiary of US-based Automatic Data Processing Inc (ADP), has announced plans to set up its second facility in India in Pune.

HYDERABAD: ADP India, subsidiary of US-based Automatic Data Processing Inc (ADP), has announced plans to set up its second facility in India in Pune. The new facility, which will commence operations in February, will serve as a business continuity and disaster recovery centre for the company's India headquarters in Hyderabad.

Besides, the Pune facility will also expand ADP's operational capacity. The Pune facility will be located in SP Infocity at Hadapsar spread across 100,000 square feet. This centre will house R&D as well as BPO offshoring functions. Initially, the Pune centre would employ around 300 associates, ramping up to over 1,000 associates over two years.

ADP recently expanded its operation in Hyderabad to over 200,000 square feet and now employs 2,000 associates in both R&D and BPO services, according to a company statement.
