Accelya Kale to offer fare filing service to Garuda Indonesia

MUMBAI: Accelya Kale Solutions, a software solutions provider to airline and travel industry, has bagged a contract from Garuda Indonesia.

The national carrier of Indonesia has outsourced its fare filing to Accelya Kale (formerly Kale Consultants), the company said in a statement here today.

Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed. Accelya's Fare Management Service will enable Garuda to improve efficiency in fare filing, maintain a high standard of accuracy, manage and implement pricing strategy to stay competitive and avoid revenue leakage, it said.

Frederik Johannes Meijer, EVP-Sales and Marketing of the airline, said, " Garuda Indonesia has aggressive growth plans and was looking to partner with experts who could improve timeliness and accuracy in fare filing. This (deal) will enable us to efficiently manage and implement pricing strategy to stay competitive."
