7Seas launches game on Android devices

HYDERABAD: 7Seas Entertainment Ltd (formerly 7 Seas Technologies Ltd) today said its game 'The Dark Man' has been made available for Android-based mobile devices.

The game is now available at Google's Android marketplace initially, and will be offered on Samsung App Store, LG Store, all other Android-supporting application stores and distributor networks in due course, a release from 7Seas said.

Maruti Sanker, Managing Director of 7Seas Entertainment Limited said the touch screen-genre game is priced at USD 0.99 per download.

The online game has been witnessing consistent popularity online, including social networking websites and has seen over 15 million game players so far since its launch a year ago, the release said.

"Android becoming the world's leading smartphone platform and garnering a 59 per cent smartphone market worldwide makes mobile games a much more reliable way to grow. To cash in on the popularity of the Android platform, we will launch more games for devices based on the Android platform," Shankar said.
