Zensar Technologies names HCL Technologies’ Sandeep Kishore as CEO

MUMBAI: Zensar Technologies said it appointed HCL Technologies’ Sandeep Kishore as chief executive officer and managing director, to take over from long-time head Ganesh Natarajan.

ET was the first to report that Zensar was looking for a CEO to replace Natarajan whose term ends in April. Private equity firm Apax bought a nearly 24% stake in the company a few months ago.

Kishore will join the RPG Enterprises-group company on the 12th of January. He is currently Corporate Vice President and Global Head for the Life Sciences & Healthcare and the Public Services business at HCL.

Under Natarajan, Zensar’s revenue rose to Rs 2,628 crore from Rs 40 crore, when he took over in 2001. Natarajan had told ET that he was looking forward to taking up a role in skill development or the social sector after he leaves Zensar.
