MUMBAI: Zensar is likely to get more than 30% of its revenue from digital services by the end of the financial year, its CEO said, beating the mid-sized IT player's own target.

The RPG Group company , which has increased its focus on digital over the past year, had said it wanted the new business to contribute 30% of its revenue. “Our target was 30% but we are already at 27.8%. There is good growth momentum in digital. We could end the year above our target,“ Sandeep Kishore, CEO of Zensar, told ET.

In the second-quarter, Zensar said revenue grew 2.2% sequentially in constant currency to $116 million. Zensar said it signed more than $40 million in digital deals in the second-quarter, though it is not known when the deals would start showing up in results.

Signed deals take two quarters before they start delivering revenue. The digital's greater contribution is also showing up in the margins, Kishore said.
