Zensar CFO Manoj Jaiswal quits a year after joining
MUMBAI: The chief financial officer of Zensar Technologies, Manoj Jaiswal, has resigned just a year after joining the mid-sized software services company. “He will be relieved from his duties with effect from the closing of business hours on Dec 4,” the RPG Group company said in a regulatory filing on Monday, without specifying the reason for Jaiswal’s exit.

The company said it is in the process of selecting and appointing a new CFO. Jaiswal, a chartered accountant by training, had been appointed as Zensar’s CFO in December last year. Prior to that, he was CFO for CEAT, another RPG Group company.

Before joining CEAT, he had worked with Wipro for 17 years in different roles. The Pune-headquartered company reported a 33% jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 64.19 crore for the July-September quarter on the back of strong margin expansion, up from Rs 48.08 crore in the previous quarter.

Its revenue from operations rose 4% over the previous quarter to Rs 762.6 crore. The company is working towards becoming a 100% digital organisation, although its digital business accounts for just 36.8% of its revenue at present.

This is explained by the fact that the deal size in digital business (banking, finance and retail) is increasing and more than 50% of the new deals are in this segment.
