Wipro’s TK Kurien to take over as chief investment officer at Premji Invest

Kurien will succeed Prakash Parthasarathy, the current CIO of Premji Invest, who has resigned to pursue ‘his entrepreneurial aspirations.’

BENGALURU: Premji Invest said it appointed TK Kurien as its chief investment officer and managing partner effective the beginning of February.

Earlier this week, Wipro said Kurien was retiring as executive vice chairman at the end of January.

“TK with his decades of experience in running startups and established enterprises and deep financial acumen is best positioned to take Premji Invest to the next level,” said Azim Premji, Chairman, Premji Invest, said.

Kurien will succeed Prakash Parthasarathy, the current CIO of Premji Invest, who has resigned to pursue ‘his entrepreneurial aspirations.’

Premji Invest is the family investment office of Azim Premji, Wipro’s founder.
