Wipro partners with Duck Creek for insurance solutions, joins its platform

Wipro, Indian IT services major, said it has partnered with Duck Creek Technologies to offer a broad array of implementation services and relevant software and data solutions for its insurance industry customers worldwide.

The Bengaluru-headquartered company has joined the Duck Creek Technologies’ Alliance Program and would serve as a Europe-based delivery partner for Duck Creek’s insurance software products.

Duck Creek Technologies is a prominent software-as-a-service software provider for P&C (property and casualty) insurance industry.


Wipro said it would offer systems integration, configuration, and support services for the Duck Creek Platform, which includes solutions for policy, rating, billing, claims, data insights, and digital engagement. “Together, Wipro and Duck Creek will help insurers meet rapidly evolving consumer expectations in their digital transformation journey. Wipro brings core insurance transformation to its customers through front-to-back digitalization and service design,” said the company in a statement.

Gaurav Chadha, vice president and Global Head of Insurance, Wipro, was quoted saying that this is a part of Wipro’s core insurance business. “Through this partnership, we will bring our cloud, cognitive, and co-innovation approach to our common customers. We are investing in enhancing our capabilities and competencies on the Duck Creek Platform to bring value to our customers by delivering velocity, quality and cost,” he said.
