Verisign India appoints Shekhar Kirani as VP

BANGALORE: VeriSign, a provider of digital infrastructure for the networked world, on Tuesday appointed Shekhar Kirani as the Vice-President of VeriSign India.

Kirani will be responsible for managing VeriSign India's business development initiatives and its locally-based product engineering, sales support and product teams, a company press release said.

He also will oversee and align VeriSign's India operations with the company's global corporate strategy. VeriSign India has offices in Bangalore and New Delhi.
