UST Global strengthens operations through key acquisitions

KOCHI: UST Global, a leading IT services and solutions provider, has strengthened its operations through key acquisitions, added to its workforce and invested in innovative technologies.

The company has made 4 new acquisitions in the past 6 months. The Atlanta-based global software services company Xpanxion and Milwaukee-based engineering solutions company Kanchi Technologies are two important acquisitions of UST Global.

Over the past six months, the company has hired 2500 people globally of which 1800 are for the India centres of the company. UST Global has 14,000 employees at present and 10,000 are in India. Two centres in Kerala employ 6600 people.

The company has also made 6 investments in technology companies such as Moonraft, a design firm, Kuboo, a child friendly social network and gaming platform and 1-Page, a solution changing the way companies hire and filter resumes.

Along with this, UST Global entered into a strategic partnership with early stage venture capital form Blumberg Capital. UST Global will provide tech expertise and investments to Blumberg capital portfolio companies.
