MUMBAI: Digital technology services firm, UST Global announced that its delivery center in Bangalore has expanded its workforce to over 2000 to become the second largest facility of the company globally. The Bengaluru center started its first phase of operations three years earlier.

"We gained significant traction in the next generation digital services space including mobility, cloud, analytics and cyber security, while maintaining steady growth in the traditional services segment which serves some of the world’s most prestigious technology brands. We will continue to make significant investments in skilling our employees to meet the rapidly changing demands of the IT landscape. With the pace at which we are growing, I expect the Bangalore center to cross the 3000-employee mark in the next 8-10 months," said Alexander Varghese, chief administrative officer, UST Global said in a statement.

The centre has been delivering domestic and global projects across the semiconductor, hi-tech, and retail sectors with solutions in engineering services, application development, support and maintenance, testing, validation and verification, and analytics.

According to the statement, US-based UST Global has more than 9,000 of its 15,000-plus employees across its global delivery centers in India, including Thiruvananthapuram (India headquarters), Kochi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Gurgaon and Pune.
