UST Global acquires Andare

CHENNAI: California-based UST Global, a major provider of services and solutions for Global 1,000 and Fortune 500 companies, has acquired mobile applications pioneer Andare.

The acquisition is a pointer to UST Global's increased emphasis on IT solutions and services and is expected to create a range of new product offerings for its clients, based on Andare's iDispatch platform. Andare has done significant work on mobile applications for large enterprise CRM applications.

UST Global CEO Sajan Pillai said the acquisition would help his company offer its clients mobile solutions "to enable productivity gains in field service operations, and leverage the product platform to launch other enterprise mobile products."

UST Global officials said plans were underway for expanding the product lines based on the Andare platform, including product development specifically aimed at the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. UST Global has operations in the US, the UK, India, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore.
