Topsgrup acquires Guardwell for Rs 20-crore
Topsgrup, a security solutions provider, has acquired Bangalore-based Guardwell Detective Services for Rs 20 crore.

MUMBAI: Topsgrup, a security solutions provider, has acquired Bangalore-based Guardwell Detective Services for Rs 20 crore.
Guardwell Detective Services would continue its existing services in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai without any change in brand-name and management structure, a release said here on Friday.
The existing promoter and Managing Director, Vishwanath V Katti, would continue to head the company, it said.
"Guardwell, with a ground force of 5,000 employees, apart from strengthening the Tops brand in the southern market will substantially value-add to its existing clients. Post acquisition, Topsgrup becomes the second-largest security services provider in southern India," Topsgrup Chairman and Managing Director Diwan Rahul Nanda said.
Currently, Topsgrup has around 65,000 employees and partnered with over 6,000 clients pan-India, a company release said.
The company is poised to achieve a revenue turnover in excess of Rs 1,000 crore by the end of the current fiscal, the release added.
Some of Topgrup's partners include Tatas, Birlas, Reliance, Airtel, Oracle, HSBC, Stanchart, ICICI, Future group amongst others, it added.
