TML bags $700-m BT order
After speculations for over three months on another large deal it was winning from BT, Tech Mahindra, announced a $700 million win from BT Global Services for transformation of its IT systems.

MUMBAI: After speculations for over three months on another large deal it was winning from BT, Tech Mahindra, announced a $700 million win from BT Global Services for transformation of its IT systems.
The duration of the contract is 5 years. ���The deal involves a minimum commitment of $700 million. There is a partner in the deal but I cannot talk about it because it is confidential,��� Mr Nayyar told ET. Earlier, ET had reported Accenture and Tech Mahindra had jointly won a $1 billion deal from BT, of which $700 million is to come to Tech Mahindra. Accenture is also reportedly making an upfront payment to BT, which is in proportion to the part of the business it has won.
