TCS recognized as 'Leader' in independent testing services by Everest Group

Tata Consultancy Services ( TCS), IT services, consulting and business solutions firm on Thursday announced that it has been recognised as a 'Leader' in Independent Testing Services by Everest Group.

According to the statement, Everest Group evaluated 23 service providers in the independent testing services sector and mapped them on their Performance, Experience, Ability, and Knowledge (PEAK) Matrix, a composite index of several distinct metrics related to a provider’s capabilities and industry track record.

The statement added that the Everest Group also profiled the capabilities of these leading service providers through a comprehensive assessment of their service scope, scale of operations, domain expertise and innovation, delivery footprints, buyer satisfaction, and market success.

"TCS has a highly mature and industry-leading testing service practice with end-to-end capabilities," said Chirajeet Sengupta, vice president, Everest Group in the statement. "Its shift in focus from pure services play to a mix of product license and services play is helping garner greater wallet share and strengthen its positioning in the market place."
