TCS named official IT consulting sponsor of NYC Half 2013

NEW DELHI: Tata Consultancy Services ( TCS) today said it has been named as the official IT consulting sponsor for the New York City (NYC) race, the NYC Half 2013.

"TCS has been named the Official IT Consulting Company sponsor for the flagship NYC Half 2013, owned and operated by New York Road Runners (NYRR), on Sunday, March 17, 2013," the company said in a release.

TCS and New York Road Runners will introduce the 'NYC Half 2013' mobile app powered by TCS. The app was deployed at the Chicago, Mumbai, Bangalore and Amsterdam marathons, also sponsored by TCS, it said.
