TCS, Amtron inks MOU to promote IT initiatives in Assam
According to a statement, TCS being the largest IT solution provider will support AMTRON, in terms of providing solutions and services to undertake short term and long term IT projects .

According to a statement, TCS being the largest IT solution provider will support AMTRON, in terms of providing solutions and services to undertake short term and long term IT projects both in solution support and process out sourcing.
With this understanding the AMTRON can make use of the infrastructures created by TCS with in the state of Assam, and also outside for providing IT enabled services to various government departments, agencies in the field of citizen centric services, recruitment assessments, automation of education sector and computerization of public utility services in the state.
According to AMTRON with this arrangement it is expected to accelerate the implementation process and also expected bring in collaborative approach for mutual benefit.
“With the strongest human capital base of TCS and its presence in Guwahat, it is seen that the conglomerate shall support the Government to excel in overall development of the state and reach out to the people of Assam,” the statement added.
The signing of the MOU, was executed between MD of AMTRON, M. K. Yadav and V. Ramaswamy, VP & Global Head of TCS-iON division.
