Tata Elxsi moots expansion plans

BANGALORE: Tata Elxsi, the product design services and system integrator IT company, is looking at expanding its operations in India and plans to add two more locations.

Tata Elxsi is currently present at four locations — Bangalore, Thiruvanthapuram , Chennai and Pune. The two new locations will be operational in the current fiscal and will be focused on product design services .

Joint general manager marketing, Tata Elxsi Nitin Pai said that the new centres will tap into talent pool at these places as well as leverage on the MNC customer base.

Tata Elxsi has around 2,500 people in its product design services and is looking at add another 1,000 people in the current fiscal. Its total headcount stands at around 2,700 people.
