Sutherland India to hire over 3000 next year
Sutherland said it is continuing to expand its India operations with its Kochi facility ramping up to over 600 people in the first five months of its operations.

It employs over 8000 people in India, over 50% of Sutherland's global headcount. The company has six facilities in Chennai and one in Mumbai. It has over 15,000 employees globally.
"Over the last 12-18 months, we have expanded our presence significantly in several new geographies including Mexico in North America, Manila and Clark in the Philippines and Kochi in India, on the back of registering significant wins from a number of F500 companies," Mr Dilip Vellodi, Chairman and CEO, Sutherland Global Services said in a press statement.
Sutherland’s spokesperson said the company plans to add over 6000 employees globally in the next 12 months out of which 3000-4000 employees will be in India. It is targeting revenues of $300m for financial year ending June 30, 2007.
