Sun Micro & NetMagic ink deal to provide web hosting solution
Sun Microsystems joined hands with IT service provider NetMagic to provide technologies and services to start-ups in India.

NEW DELHI: Sun Microsystems joined hands with IT service provider NetMagic on Thursday to provide technologies and services to start-ups in India.
As per the alliance, NetMagic would be Sun's hosting partner to provide web-hosting and managed services to the customers in their Startup Essentials (SSE) program.
The alliance marks the first ever-local partnership for the SSE programme in India to offer web-hosting services to Suns customers in the country, Sun said in a statement.
K P Unnikrishnan, Director Marketing, Alliance and Teleweb Sales, Sun Microsystems India said, "When we launched the SSE program in India, we were offering web-hosting services through two US based companies."
"As our program grew manifold, the feedback we received from the market was to have a local web-hosting provider and offer more choices to our customers," he added.
