BENGALURU: Roopa Kudva has retired as independent director on Infosysboard after the completion of her tenure.

Kudva was appointed as independent director from February 4, 2015 until February 3, 2020.

“Consequent to her retirement, the composition of the Board and its Committees continue to be in compliance with the requirements of applicable laws,” Infosys told the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Kudva was one of the independent directors who had come under fire from Infosys founder NR Narayana Murthy when he was battling former Infosys CEO Vishal Sikka. Murthy had accused the company of bad corporate governance.
