MUMBAI: Having received robust response since foraying into India in 2004 and sensing huge growth potential, workplace solutions provider Regus India said on Friday that it will be increasing its footprint to tier-II cities and smaller towns in the coming days.

"We have presence in 21 centres across nine cities in India, including Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai. Now, we are expanding our network in tier-II cities like Coimbatore, Puducheery, Bhubaneshwar, Raipur, Ranchi and Thanjavur," Regus India's Country Head Madhusudan Thakur told PTI here.

Thakur said plans were afoot to establish presence in smaller cities too where exports businesses were looking to set up liaison offices.

He, however, declined to reveal the investment that the company would require to make to increase its footprint.

Regus India is a 100 per cent subsidiary of the Texas- headquartered parent. The parent company, established in Belgium in 1989, operates more than 1,000 business centres across 450 cities in 75 countries. It had recorded 862.4 million pound revenue in 2007.

Thakur said the company's revenue in India had shot up by 400 per cent year-on-year over the last four years.
