QuEST Global targets $ 1 billion turnover by 2020
The company which has presence in 40 locations across 11 countries plans to increase its headcount to 20,000 by 2020 from 8300 at present.

The Singapore headquartered company with a strong base in Technopark in Thiruvananthapuram currently earns almost 50% of its turnover, currently at $0.5 billion, from aerospace sector.
"The rapid shift from mechanical engineering to electronics and embedded systems will drive our growth. The R&D spend by companies in electronics is going up,’’ said Shrikant Naik, senior vice president and head of global delivery of QuEST.
The company which has presence in 40 locations across 11 countries plans to increase its headcount to 20,000 by 2020 from 8300 at present. In the Thiruvananthapuram office the staff strength will be doubled from the current 2000.
"We plan to earn higher revenue through both organic and non-organic growth. We are looking at some global acquisitions which are yet to be finalised,’’ Naik said. The company had taken over NeST Software, another company that operated in Technopark.
S. Narayanan, vice president and centre head of QuEST in Thiruvananthapuram said the company is in the process of encouraging innovation among the students in the academic institutions and developing a sustainable pool of talented graduate engineers.
