Pyro inks contract with IBM for products and solution

Pyro has entered into a strategic partnership with Global IT major IBM for development, testing and management of its products and solutions.

HYDERABAD: Pyro, a city-based mobile technology services company, has entered into a strategic partnership with Global IT major IBM for development, testing and management of its products and solutions.

The USD 19 million contract has been inked for a period of five years, and this will include value added services from IBM in the telecom industry domain, the company said in a release.

"IBM's proven technology expertise will also enable us to increase our resource utilisation, adopt best industry practices, and change methodologies effectively," said S M Reddy CEO of Pyro Group.

"The engagement gives IBM an opportunity to help Pyro strengthen its market presence by enabling the company to focus on its core business," said Vanitha Narayanan Managing Partner Global Business Services IBM India/South Asia.
