Punjab and Sind Bank ties up with HCL Infosystems

State-owned Punjab & Sind Bank ( PSB) today said it has entered into a tie-up with HCL Infosystems.

The collaboration is for provision of smart card-based technology solutions for financial inclusion, besides engaging and managing business correspondents deployed in unbanked villages allotted, PSB said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

No financial details were, however, disclosed. Shares of PSB today closed at Rs 119.35 a piece, up 0.42 per cent from its previous close on the BSE.
