Persistent Systems acquires RGEN Solutions for an undisclosed amount

NEW DELHI: Persistent Systems today said it has acquired RGEN Solutions through its US subsidiary for an undisclosed amount.

"Persistent Systems has, on July 3, 2015 acquired all of the stock of Akshat Corporation (which does business under the name RGEN Solutions) through Persistent Systems Inc, wholly-owned subsidiary of Persistent Systems Limited, incorporated in California, USA," it said in a filing to the BSE.

This transaction has been closed, it added. Persistent, however, did not disclose the financial terms of the deal.

Founded in 2006, RGEN is headquartered at Redmond, USA. It offers IT services and solutions like business intelligence, staffing, software development and testing and SharePoint 2010 services.

According to RGEN's website, its clients include Microsoft, Nuance, HP, T-Mobile, EDS and Atos.
