Patni Computer announces management rejig

MUMBAI: Software provider Patni Computer Systems on Wednesday said Gajendra Kumar Patni and William O Grabe have resigned as directors of the company with immediate effect.

Pursuant to the Share Purchase Agreement and Securities Purchase Agreement entered into between Patni Computer and US-based iGate, dated January 10, 2011, Gajendra Kumar Patni (Non-Executive Director) and William O Grabe (Non-Executive Director) have resigned as directors of the company with immediate effect, Patni Computer said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Further, Phaneesh Murthy, the President and CEO of iGATE Corporation and Shashank Singh, Co-Head of the India office of Apax Partners, have been inducted as Additional Directors of the company with immediate effect, it added.
