KOLKATA: West Bengal IT Minister Partha Chatterjee will travel to Bangalore tomorrow to hold talks with the top officials of IT major Infosys on its stalled project in Rajarhat near here.

"Infosys Executive co-Chairman Krish Gopalkrishnan has written a letter recently requesting us to allow the company to take physical possession of the land. I will be going to Bangalore tomorrow for talks with them," Chatterjee told reporters here.

"They have been allotted the land and have to make use of it," he said without giving further details about the letter.

He added that the state government was sticking to its stand of not providing SEZ status to the company.

Infosys has been allotted 50 acre by the previous left front government at Rajarhat on the eastern fringes of the city for Rs 75 crore.
