Nokia Siemens inks pact with TCS to transfer R&D services

Under the agreement, the former will transfer its product engineering and R&D services as well as part of the Operations and Business Software (OBS) unit activities to TCS, company's press release said on Sunday.
Nokia Siemens will also transfer 90 employees belonging to Nokia Siemens Development Center in Dusseldorf, Germany to TCS as part of the agreement, the company said.

TCS has generated a consolidated revenue of $4.3-billion for the fiscal ended March, 2007 and has operations in 47 countries, Company said.
Nokia Siemens Networks is a leading provider of communications services and has a total head count of 20,000 service professionals worldwide, it said.
