NIIT Technologies today said it has implemented an automated content management and delivery system at Singapore Parliament.

NEW DELHI: NIIT Technologies today said it has implemented an automated content management and delivery system at Singapore Parliament.

The financial details were, however, not disclosed. The recording system enables the recording and archiving of parliament proceedings, NIIT Tech said in a statement.

Singapore Parliament is first ever in Asia to implement Content Management and Delivery system, it added.

The recording system brings publishing capabilities in- house for Singapore Parliament and helps in production of high quality content under tight timelines, NIIT said.

The users of this system are the staff from the Official Reports or Hansard department of Singapore Parliament.

"The staff used to spend long hours, sometimes stretching late into the night, to transcribe and record every word spoken in the parliament chamber. With the new system, the transcription and reporting process is speedier and more accurate, altogether less painful,"Gunalan Kamalanathan, Project Manager of the Singapore Parliament reporting system said.
