NHIT to open franchises in tier-two cities
NHIT, an Tiruchirapalli based IT enabled services and BPO training firm which has presence in countries including the US and the UK, is planning to open franchises in other tier-two cities in Tamil Nadu.

MADURAI: NHIT, an Tiruchirapalli based IT enabled services and BPO training firm which has presence in countries including the US and the UK, is planning to open franchises in other tier-two cities in Tamil Nadu.
The company would be focussing on other cities including Madurai, Coimbatore and Kumbakonam in view of the "vast potential" there, P Dayaparan, Executive Director of the company, told the media.
The Madurai centre would be opened on January 20, Kumbakonam on February 8 and Coimbatore on March 14, he said.
NHIT has also plans to open franchise in Sri Lanka, he added.
The company employed 1,750 of its students in various countries in the last year alone and was recruiting staff for as many as 230 Fortune 500 companies, he claimed.
"We are confident of providing jobs for all those who studied in NHIT," he said.

"In fact we need to train people for our own requirement. That is why we were able to achieve 100 per cent growth. We have come to two-tier cities only after studying the feasibility in detail." Professors from UK and US teach students through video conferencing, along with experienced and trained lecturers, he said.
