Ness Digital Engineering to add 800 to workforce
BENGALURU: US-based IT service provider Ness Digital Engineering is looking to add about 800 employees to its workforce in the coming months, its president Satyajit Bandyopadhyay has said.

The company will be coming out with new service offerings focused on leveraging DevOps and Business Process Management (BPM), he said. However, Ness’ primary focus will be on digital platform engineering.

"We had double-digit growth in the last two years and expect the growth to accelerate mainly because of our product engineering focus," Bandyopadhyay said.

Ness is a global provider of outsourced engineering services with core competence in software product development and platform engineering services space. Bandyopadhyay said the company expects significant growth in the financial services and retail segment, with special emphasis on education and publishing.

"The learning industry is going through a major transformation. The way educational content is being delivered is changing. We are shifting from computer-based learning to remote learning via phones, tablets and other devices. This means more business for IT developers," he said.

Ness is a software development firm that helps companies build technology digital platforms. Its digital products, services and delivery platforms help clients generate revenue and improve customer engagement.
