MphasiS sets up centre in Canada

IT firm MphasiS said it will set up a centre in Canada to serve the North American region.

The centre in Prince Edward Island (PEI) Canada, will currently house 100 employees, which will grow to 300 in the next two years, MphasiS said in a filing to the BSE.

The centre, which will play a strategic role in the company's North American operations, will serve local customers, especially catering to the banking and capital market hubs located here, it added.

Part of MphasiS' global delivery network, the centre will develop and deploy integrated business solutions around application services, BPO and infrastructure management.
