Micro Technologies bags 160 cr project for creating highly secured communication system VOB

IT company Micro Technologies today said it will execute a project worth Rs 160 crore for creating a highly secured communication system called ' VOB' or ' Video over Broadband' for a major public sector company.

The system will include security surveillance system with access control, disaster recovery center including supply of the high end infrastructure, the company statement said.

"This infrastructure will include high end servers and network facility to handle the clients in ranging more than few tens of millions," it added.

The company, however, did not disclose name of the PSU for which it has won the project.

Micro Technologies said this project will enable the company to tap the PSU sector with such kind of advanced communication set up and infrastructure management including security.

"This is one of the most prestigious orders for us with the most advanced security and communication technology provided by the company. We are really happy and proud to have such order and looking forward for more penetration in PSU sector," Micro Technologies India ED Mukund Gupta said in a statement.
