Mediation process between Infosys and Jack Palmer the whistleblower fails

BANGALORE: The mediation process between software services exporter Infosys and Jack Palmer, the whistle-blower employee who sued the company for allegedly circumventing visa rules in the US has failed. The case will now go to trial on August 20. Mediation efforts took place after a US Federal Judge ordered both the parties to meet and settle their disputes at a mediation conference earlier this month.

"Despite Judge Coody's earnest attempts to help both parties forge a settlement, today's mediation hearing was not successful. Our sights are now set on presenting the facts of this case in open court on August 20," Infosys spokesperson said in an email response on Wednesday.
