The Madhya Pradesh government has decided to make available 100 acre land in the city for developing IT facilities.

INDORE: As part of its vision to develop Indore as an IT hub, the Madhya Pradesh government has decided to make available 100 acre land in the city for developing IT facilities.

According to an official of the Indore Development Authority, the state government has completed all formalities but the actual plot is yet to be identified.

In January this year, a team from TCS had visited Indore to inquire about the infrastructure facilities in the city. Following the visit, the state government decided to make available 100 acre land, for which TCS has emerged as front-runner in the city's 'super corridor'.

The Madhya Pradesh government is looking at developing Indore as the next destination for IT with a view to attract investment and generate employment.

The government has invited major IT companies like TCS, Infosys and Wipro in this regard.

State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan recently identified corridors in the city where the state government plan to allocate land to IT firms.
