Laser Soft bags $2 mn banking software contracts

Chennai based Laser Soft Infosystems, a banking software application provider, has secured mandates worth $2 million from three newly acquired overseas clients.

CHENNAI: Chennai based Laser Soft Infosystems, a banking software application provider, has secured mandates worth $2 million from three newly acquired overseas clients.

Its biggest order comes from KEP Trust, Kosovo for a core banking and treasury application. Its other orders are for corporate and retail loan origination and management systems from Mashreq Bank, Dubai and Exim bank, Tanzania.

The applications sought by the clients are licensable products, previously developed by the vendor.

"The implementation of these projects has already begun, and all three sites are expected to go online by March-April of this year," said Laser Soft associate vice president S Mahadeva Prasad. Laser soft is a Rs.40 crore company employing 630 people in six locations ��� Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mangalore, Delhi and Mumbai.
