JSoft Solutions opens 100-seater BPO at Bellary

MUMBAI: JSoft Solutions, the software arm of JSW Group, has opened a 100-seater BPO unit at Bellary aiming to provide employment opportunities to local people.

"This will cater employment opportunities to 300 people. It will be a non-voice BPO and gradually it will be upgraded to a BPO voice," JSW Steel's Vice Chairman and Managing Director Sajjan Jindal said in a release here.

He said that the company has plans to scale up the Bellary BPO into a 1,000-seater operation with supports from Bellary Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The company would set up another 300-seater non-voice BPO centre near Toranagallu by January next year. Toranagallu, the plant site of JSW Steel, also houses a 100-seater BPO unit.

JSW has plans to open such centres in other cities of Karnataka like Hopet, Hubli and Raichur, the release said.
