NEW DELHI: India's "inherent" strength in technology can be used to improve the quality of education in the country, an official said today.

Speaking at the Education Solutions Technology Framework Conclave here, Department of School Education and Literacy Joint Secretary Maneesh Garg said ICT can provide interactive methods of delivering education and deliver better understanding.

He added that one of the objectives of Digital India programme is to impart skills to students for making them employable.

"The inherent strength of India in IT can be leveraged to improve the quality of education in the country," he said.
