HYDERABAD: Infotech exports from units registered with Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) may grow at 10 per cent during the current fiscal over the last year, a top STPI official said here today.

STPI Director General Omkar Rai said here last year that IT exports from STPI registered units stood at Rs 2.51 lakh crore.

"In 2012-13, the STPI registered units exported about Rs 2.51 lakh crore. While 2013-14 figures are yet to be compiled, it is growing at the average of 10 per cent. The growth is in dollar terms as well," Rai told PTI.

He said that last year, total exports stood at USD 76 billion, with 10 per cent growth over the last year.

There are about 10,000 IT units registered with STPIs across the country in 53 centres, out of which 3750 units exported various services and products.
