Infosys gives salary hike of 4-10% for employees between job levels 2 and 6

Employees with CRR (consolidated relative ranking) 1+, the top performers, are eligible for a 10% salary hike. Employees with ratings of CRR 1, CRR 2 and CRR 3 will be given 8%, 6% and 4% salary increases respectively. An email sent to Infosys on the pay hikes remained unanswered at the time of going to press CRR is a performance measurement method that rates employees based on tasks assigned, consistency of performance, living the Infosys values and demonstrating capabilities to take up additional responsibilities.
In the last two years, increments were delayed, following the company's mediocre performance. Last year it was given effective July, soon after Murthy's return to the company. The year before that it was given in October. Murthy had said recently that the company would return to the April-March cycle this year. Last year, there was an average 8% increase in salaries for employees in India and 3% for those based overseas.
In October, the company also gave promotions, with salary increases, to 12,000 people.
