Infosys completes JV formation with Temasek

BENGALURU: Infosys said it has completed formation of a joint venture with Temasek, Singapore-headquartered investment company. The Indian IT service major announced its decision on September 7 to make the JV that would integrate some of its teams with the investment company’s technology subsidiary. The subsidiary provides services to Temasek and other customers.

Infosys had said it would hold a 60% stake in the JV; while 40% would be with Temasek. The JV entity would be headquartered in Singapore.

Through this joint venture, Infosys will be a partner to Temasek in its digital transformation journey and further strengthen its footprint in South East Asia, said Infosys in a press release on Friday. “The joint venture will provide Temasek and its other clients with solutions in advanced technologies including cloud, data and analytics, cybersecurity, digital experiences and artificial intelligence,” said the company.


Employees of this JV entity will also be able to access Infosys’ education and training capabilities to advance their technological skills.
