Infosys CEO Vishal Sikka woos former executives
NEW DELHI: "I am looking forward to the amazing opportunity of serving as the CEO of one of the most iconic companies we know," begins the email Infosys’ new Chief Executive Vishal Sikka sent on Monday to former staff at India’s second largest software exporter.

"It is a pleasure to reach out to you, an alumnus of Infosys. You are part of an exclusive network of incredibly driven individuals and are integral to this success you helped create - a company like none other. We continue to foster the hierarchy of ideas, be obsessive about our performance and be really proud of what we do together. Just like you did. In that sense, your role here is neither limited to the time you spent at Infosys nor is it forgotten.

Our focus on finding new, exciting ways of working together has never been stronger...

I have often heard it said that once an Infoscion, always an Infoscion. Friend, you stand testimony to this fact, and I know I can look forward to our continued association and your support as an ambassador for Infosys," Sikka says in the email titled "A new beginning".

The email includes a link to a video with an interview of Sikka, where he speaks about his crowdsourcing initiative "Murmuration" and his initial experiences as Infosys' CEO.

The Global Infosys Alumni network is a platform for all former Infosys staff, and these former employees receive emailed updates from the company.
