Infosys celebrates Onam through its annual cultural programme

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Infosys Development Center here today inaugurated its annual cultural programme, UTSAV, to celebrate the spirit of ' Onam'.
UTSAV, the flagship event of Infosys Thiruvananthapuram Development Center, brings together over 4000 employees under the single canopy of festivity and unlimited entertainment.

Being organised for the 11th year in a row, the event started off with the traditional Shingari Melam in the presence of employees and senior leaders of the DC.

During the week long fair, an array of events and competitions such as Food mela, Athapookalam, Uriyadi, Onappattu along with customary sports like Archery and Tug of war will be held, a press release said.

Speaking of the celebrations, Sunil Jose - Development Center Head, Infosys Thiruvananthapuram, said: "Beyond the competition and festivities, the most significant achievement of UTSAV is that it brings in a spirit of camaraderie among the employees of the Development Center. The showcase of talent and display of incredible teamwork is a true sign of success of such events."
