Infosys BPO conferred award

BANGALORE: The business process outsourcing subsidiary of Infosys Technologies, Infosys BPO, has been conferred a award by UK-based National Outsourcing Association for consistent excellence in practice across all disciplines.

The National Outsourcing Association (NOA) awards aim to reward organisations for success in outsourcing projects, as well as to raise awareness about best practice in outsourcing.

Infosys was represented in three categories -- BPO project of the year, best practice in outsourcing, and the outsourcing project of the year -- at the awards.

The NOA Awards, in its fifth year, recognised 15 companies for their best practice contributions to the outsourcing industry.

The awards acknowledge achievements in IT outsourcing and business process outsourcing, as well as sector-specific achievements in telecommunications, finance and utilities, a release said.

NOA is part of the larger umbrella organisation, the European Outsourcing Association.
