IBM launches SMB operations in Nashik

This expansion will enable IBM to provide better support to SME clients in and around Nashik and help IBM's customers leverage IT for business growth.

BANGALORE: As part of its regional expansion strategy, IBM India today announced the launch of its SMB operations in Nashik.

This expansion will enable IBM to provide better support to SME clients in and around Nashik and help IBM's customers leverage IT for business growth, a company statement said.

In addition,mid-market businesses will also benefit from the recently announced IBM Express Advantage initiative that provides SMEs with a unified end-to-end approach to help them innovate and expand, it said.

IBM has recognised the need for innovative and simplified IT solutions in tier-II cities throughout the country.

Last year, IBM had announced a plan to extend its presence to 14 cities outside of the key metros, and so far the company has launched operations in Bhopal, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Goa, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Lucknow, Nagpur and Vizag. IBM will expand operations to four additional cities including Surat, Bhubaneshwar, Madurai and Ludhiana in the coming months.
